A trip to stimulate the creativity and to give space to the imagination with experimental compositions and new expressive possibilities.
The course is for all the people who desire to build an artistic formation in the field of the literature for children. The goal is to find a methodology in order to build images that converse with the imagination through different tools and a personal technique.
Methodology: practical course focused on methods and tools to make an idea or a concept dynamic, and on the suitable techniques in order to realise it. The students are tasked with developing an idea that stems from the expressive freedom of a word, or a concept, and then develop it themselves with the chosen methodology and with the creative unfolding of a story. The technique offers the tools to mature the aesthetical aspect and to give movement to the visual reading.
From the word to the visual novel
The artistic and technical materials are at the trainee’s expense.
The course involves the use of a mixed technique with also the possibility to experiment other techniques. The participants can work with already known techniques or with new materials: acrylic, coloured pencils, crayons, different types of paper, scissors and glue, collage and so on. Regardless of the selected technique, it is necessary to bring pencils, brushes, rags, dishes, scissors, cutter, sandpaper, glue, a sketchpad and blanks papers in order to develop a planning of the images. We suggest to whomever wants to experiment with watercolour technique and its variations, to select a suitable type of paper.
