Martina Tonello

Martina Tonello is an illustrator with experience in woodworking. She was born in 1993 and lives in the Bolognese Apennines, where she explores forests in search of animals and stories. As both an author and illustrator of picture books, she has published with various publishers, including Terre di Mezzo, Camelozampa, Mondadori ElectaKids, Comme des géants, and Milky Way Picture Book.

A project that combines writing, illustration, and wood as elements of a single narrative. The story begins within the pages of a book but continues beyond them, through a sculpture that sits halfway between a toy and a work of art.
