Chen Wang

Born in 1994 in the Chinese province of Shandong, after completing his diploma in Animation in 2015, he moved to Italy to study Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, the city where he now lives and works. He has published the picture book *Dove sono i mostri* and *Tra l’Adriatico*, an autobiographical travelogue.
He was selected for the 42nd and 43rd editions of the International Children’s Illustration Exhibition ‘Le Immagini della Fantasia’, for the BIBF – Beijing International Children’s Book Fair Illustration Exhibition, and for the Busan International Children’s Book Fair in South Korea. He has also received the silver medal in the “Girasole di Bronzo” Literary Prize and the Special Jury Prize for the original picture book “Cappotto Rosso”.
For the past eight years, he has been teaching illustration, designing courses and workshops aimed at students of various levels.
