Antonio Bonanno

Antonio Bonanno (born in Catania in 1970) is an author and illustrator of children’s books published both in Italy and abroad. ‘Bronzo’ at the 2019 Annual of the Illustrators Association. Selected at the ‘Chaos, 2019’ competition organised by the Tapirulan association with the illustration ‘Big Bang’. Special mention at Lucca Junior 2018. Selected for the Lucca Junior 2013/2016 exhibitions. The graphic novel on Cosimo Cristina was published as an insert in Fatto Quotidiano. He currently lives in Bergamo, teaches illustration and advertising graphics in both the public and private sectors. He organises workshops on ink hatching (his favourite technique) and works as a freelance graphic designer (Salani editore is one of his clients).
